About Me
Hello, my name is Paul Machowsky and I love making music! It all started at the young age of 8 with piano lessons my mother made me take because she thought it would be good for my schoolwork! Not only was it great for my schoolwork, but it was also a tremendous way to express my feelings about life via music and share with the world! I soon realized that many of the songs I wrote resonated with people because they too shared the same experiences within their own lives, and in turn, they would feel similar emotions.
After raising a family and working the boring 8-5 as a salesman, I decided to quit and focus on music full time! Why not? I had won many piano playing competitions as a young man and even toured with a professional band (The Ohio Players) once I graduated from college. Now, I spend my days writing and recording songs for people who would like to reflect upon their own life events in song. In addition, I am producing songs for advertisements as well as for television and movies. This is what I love to do, more than anything! Custom Songwriting
This song was written for a client who wanted to use it as a source of inspiration for their children. It is kicked off with a very encouraging speech by Senator Ted Kennedy at the funeral of his brother, Bobby. When faced with a difficult challenge, one that does not seem possible to achieve? Ask yourself this question… Why Not?
This song was written for a customer who wanted to express in song, how alike we all are, yet at the same time, uniquely different! The need to be diverse, always being a “hot topic” within our society, encourages us to believe in the fact that we are all the same… created to be God’s children… No matter what race, religion or creed!
Music for TV, Movies and Ads
These songs serve as an example of pieces of music that would be good for television, movies or advertisements. Even so, the music chosen for one of these forms of media, depend upon the show, movie or product and the specific needs of the customer.
My writing of musical compositions is fairly regimented and I follow a strict process that I have developed over the years. It starts with clients telling me what their goals are for a particular piece of music. If that is not possible, I will extensively research the subject matter associated with a particular composition and make creative decisions based on that research. This could include watching an entire season of a TV show or several movies, where the music had been managed by a specific Music Supervisor. This will assist me with creating music that is preferred by my customer! My ultimate goal – Making my customers happy and their workload lighter!
Production/Mix/ Master
Every good book tells a story, from the beginning to the end. A good song production is not any different. If you do not create an engaging story, you will lose your listeners and lose them quickly! With thousands of songs entering the stream every day, your production will need to stand out! I can do this for you! If you would like me to help tell your story within a song, let me know!
